SUMMARY:AITT Instructor - 10 Day (Novice)
DESCRIPTION:This course is suitable for novice instructor candidates who wish to qualify to deliver either in-house and/or AITT accredited training. \n  \nThe course will be based on a Counterbalance Lift Truck\, so candidates must have a minimum of 6 months’ operational experience with this type of equipment. Once qualified\, you will be eligible to deliver in-house and/or AITT accredited training on equipment which you have yourself been certified as an operator. \n  \nTo attend this course\, no previous teaching experience is necessary. If you have previous teaching experience and/or qualifications\, you may be eligible for the 5-day version of this course. Please contact us to discuss if you are unsure. \n  \nThe course will run from 5-9 and 12-16 December (Monday to Friday\, two consecutive weeks).

DESCRIPTION:This course is suitable for either re-registering instructor candidates who are coming up to their 5-year expiry and/or candidates who are already qualified as an instructor with another accrediting body but wish to qualify as an AITT accredited instructor (direct entry). \n  \nThe course will be based on a Counterbalance Lift Truck. On successful completion\, you will be eligible to deliver in-house and/or AITT accredited training on equipment which you are yourself certified as an operator. \n  \nThe course will run from 12-16 December (Monday to Friday).

DESCRIPTION:This course will lead to the NPORS N133 Plant Machinery Marshal qualification. For candidates with a valid CITB Health Safety & Environment test\, this can also lead to the NPORS CSCS (trained/competent operator) card. \nDuring the course\, you will understand legal and site safety requirements; correct signals for banking vehicles and plant as per the applicable Code of Practice; how to effectively assess for hazards and the main hazards affecting operators\, marshals and other site workers\, PPE requirements and so on.
