We deliver training on almost all types of Fork Lift Truck found within the Construction, Logistics/Warehousing, Manufacturing and Production sectors.

Whether you’re a complete novice, require a refresher course to update your entitlement or fall somewhere in between, we can help!

Training for almost all types of Fork Lift Truck (FLT) can be provided, and is accredited through the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) – the main competitor to the CPCS scheme – or Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT).

At our Plymouth training centre we have a Counterbalance, Reach and Telescopic Handler (12.5m) available for training. If you prefer training at your premises, we’re also more than happy to visit you!

Our experienced trainers will provide the knowledge, training and guidance to give candidates the best chance of success.

Course Type	Who is it suitable for?	Duration
Experienced Worker Test (EWT)	For very experienced candidates who are familiar with the theoretical knowledge and practical testing requirements, the EWT route is a cost-effective option, allowing a greater number of candidates to be tested in one day. This option does not allow for any refresher or remedial training, however.	1/2 day
Novice	Aimed at candidates with little or no previous experience on the machine, who have not previously attended formal training.	3-5 days
Experienced	This course is aimed at delegates who have some prior experience. This may have been with formal training where experience has since been sporadic, or regular experience without any formal training.	2-3 days
Refresher	Suitable for candidates who have previously received formal training, and who have been regularly operating the machine since.	1 day
Conversion	With some types of equipment, it is possible to reduce the training duration required by applying skills taught on similar machines. For example, a candidate could “convert” from a Counterbalance Lift Truck to a Reach Lift Truck.	1-2 days
