Site Safety Awareness training gives candidates the core knowledge they need to protect themselves and other site users. It is accredited either by the National Plant Operator Registration Scheme (NPORS) or available as an in-house qualification.
Covered in this course is an overview of legal responsibilities; hazards that exist on site and what can be done to minimise risk; understanding where information for safety can be obtained and the importance of following best practice.
Training lasts for one day, with a theory assessment at the end to confirm the achievement.
Where the course has been booked with NPORS accreditation, this will (when combined with the CITB HS&E test) qualify candidates for the Labourer CSCS card.
