Supporting the Future of Industry Training

The Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT) is a UK accrediting body dedicated to maintaining and improving training standards for operators, instructors and tutors working with workplace transport and material handling equipment.

The AITT Council plays an important role in helping shape the organisation’s future. Its members bring together industry knowledge and experience from across training providers, health and safety, and other areas of the sector, helping ensure that the views of members are represented.

This election provides an opportunity to contribute his practical experience and industry knowledge to discussions that support the continued development of training standards and best practice.

On his election Sam said…. “Thank you to those of you who gave me your vote and to everyone who participated in the election process – my intention is to help drive positive change within AITT for the benefit of its members and the wider training industry. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and would like to invite anyone who has suggestions or concerns to contact me and I will be happy to raise any relevant points with council at the regular meetings.”

Sam’s election to the AITT Council marks an exciting step forward, both for his own professional journey and for RCSC Training. We look forward to seeing Sam play an active role in helping shape the future of the industry, championing best practice and ensuring training continues to meet the needs of operators, instructors and training providers alike.
